Community Service

Community Service has taught me a lot about myself and how i wanna give back to not just my community but my great country.

II.    Profile of the organization(s) you worked for. Who are they? Fowler High School What do they do to serve the community?  They are a school and they better education for the youth When do they provide their services? On Weekdays  Where do they provide their services? 227 Magnolia St.,
Syracuse, NY 13204 Why is there a need for their services? We need their services to help teach youth so they will be prepared for college and become someone great someday.

III. The mission statement of the organization.
Fowler High School recognizes that each student is an individual; that all students are creative; that all students need to succeed. Therefore, Fowler High School respects the individual needs of students; fosters a caring and creative environment; and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each student.
III.  Description of the specific tasks
My task for doing my community service was to make sure people could learn in a very clean and sterile environment. Also to pass out programs for my music teacher's daughters recital

IV.  Discuss any memorable personal experience; positive or negative, you had during your service that you feel were important.    How these tasks impacted the mission of the organization or the well-being of the individual? The experience was overall positive , I cleaned and i felt a sense of pride because i cleaned for good people

VI.  Conclusion:  Your personal reactions to the act of performing community service   Positive and/or negative reactions  Positive i guess because it wasn't much of a hassle  Do you feel you made a difference? Why or why not.No ,not really because it wasn't that big of a job to make an impact  What impact do you believe community service has on our society? It depends on the person and the job Would you recommend your community service opportunity(ies) to other students Why or why not? Yes because its not that bad

Animal Farm is an allegory (a story with a hidden meaning) about some animals who revolt and take over the farm. George Orwell,  the author, wrote this book to discuss government ideas  and the problems of  Communism and Fascicim.
